Cheres graduated from the University of Macau and she  joined MdME Lawyers in early 2007 as an assistant and has since then been working exclusively on the Intellectual Property Department, handling all aspects of Trade Mark, Patent and Design prosecution, liaising with clients and Government offices and supervising the IP team.

Prior to joining the firm, Cheres worked in a world renowned high-end retailer in Macau for retail and operation management and obtained extensive brand management training.
