Hengqin Chinese Medicine Park: Macau / Guangdong JV
According to a spokes person of the government, Mr. Tam Chon Weng, a joint venture will be established for the Chinese Medicine Industrial Park, of which the Macau government will have a 51-percent share while the Guangdong provincial government will own 49 percent.
Macau will provide the necessary funds and Guangdong will allocate the land.
The Chinese Medicine Industrial Park will be located in the Hengqin Island and the construction will start after the PRC Central Government approval. The project will include spaces for conventions and exhibitions, creative industries, educational training and tourism and is expected to be complete in three years, according to Mr. Tam.
