Idle Land: Inspection Results by the end of December

According to the Macau Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) director, Mr. Jaime Carion, the Government has already implemented a study and analysis on the 29 idle land cases that need urgent attention, adding that by the end of the year some of the results will be announced publicly.

Meanwhile, the land law revision draft will increase inspections, enforcement powers and penalties for land concessionaires in cases of idle land by way of a direct link of the fines with the land premium, ultimately leading to the land take back by the Government.
