MdME formalizes International Alliance with MLTGS

MdME Lawyers is now part of an alliance with the leading Portuguese law firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva (MLGTS), which were recently awarded the Chambers & Partners Portuguese Law Firm of 2010, with more than 160 lawyers. This alliance includes leading law firms in Brazil (Mattos Filho), Angola (FDHP) and Mozambique (SCAN), to cover the major Portuguese Speaking Country’s economies.
We are now capable and currently assisting Companies and Investors from Greater China in their business operations and investments in Macau, Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique. To the same extent, we are also capable to assist Companies from these Portuguese Speaking Countries in their businesses and investments in the Greater China region.
The growing commercial and diplomatic relations between China and the Portuguese Speaking Countries – increased by the recent high-profile visits of President Hu Jintao to Portugal and Prime Minister Wen Jiabao to Macau to attend the Portuguese Speaking Countries Forum – is now supported by an integrated alliance of top legal firms, with local capability, in Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Angola and Brazil, with Macau as a privileged platform.
The alliance is also supported by a strong network of contacts with Government, Financial, Diplomatic and Procurement Agencies, in order to assist clients in overcoming the legal challenges of investing in foreign jurisdictions.
