Ana Santos Paiva

Ana is a senior associate in the Employment practice.

She acts for both domestic and international employers in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious labour matters. Ana advises throughout the entire lifecycle of an employment relationship, including on hiring and firing, contracts and policies compensation and benefits, health and safety, collective bargaining, and social security matters.

Ana’s experience also includes representing clients before labour authorities and employment courts in the full spectrum of litigation matters. She further assists employers in investigations and disciplinary proceedings, employee dismissal and claims, redundancy proceedings and labour misdemeanors.

In addition, Ana often designs and implements internal policies and codes of conduct to prevent and combat harassment at work, and provides training to promote a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment.
